Company Information

TOYOTA is one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers and a leading global corporation. Founded in 1937. Toyota now sells vehicles in 170 countries and employs over 350.000 people. Based in Brussels, Belgium, and staffed by 2.700 people and more than 60 nationalities, Toyota Motor Europe (TME) handles the wholesale marketing of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, parts & accessories, and manages Toyota’s European R&D, manufacturing, and engineering operations.

We are excited to be transforming into a mobility company focusing on bringing even more happiness to our customers through various mobility solutions.

Every day we ship thousands of components, accessories and vehicles across the whole of Europe. Our supply chain operations ensure that our factories, retailers and customers receive their products in the right place and at the right time.

From the beginning of a car’s lifecycle to its disposal, Toyota’s sophisticated supply chain network focuses on reducing the environmental impact of our products and activities. For our production parts, multiple cross-docks and consolidation points across the region support the supply of components to our manufacturing plants. Vehicle Logistics Groups in our European hubs, cross-docks and port operations ensure our customers get their vehicles on-time, in-time, every time. For after-sales activities, we have an extensive supply chain to organise and support service parts and components.

The Service Parts Supply Chain Group operates 18 central distribution warehouses throughout Europe. Using a hub & spoke distribution method, they ship thousands of components and accessories every day to over 3300 retailers throughout Europe and affiliates across the globe.

Your team and your responsibilities

In this role, you will be a key customer and quality interface for Toyota Parts Centre Austria, connecting our customers across Europe with our warehouse operation, logistics partners and central Toyota organisation.

Working with a strong Customer First and Quality First mindset, you will look across the complete end-to-end flow: from our warehouse processes and logistics providers through to the final customer. You will use customer feedback, operational knowledge and data to understand where performance can be improved and turn this into concrete actions.

The role combines three important areas: international customer relationship management, ownership of operational quality performance and continuous improvement of our supply-chain processes.

You will not only report what happened. We expect you to go to the Gemba, understand why it happened, challenge the status quo and help the organisation improve.

Your responsibilities:

Quality Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Own and monitor quality performance, ensuring effective KPI analysis and reporting to local and central Toyota stakeholders (damages, mispicks, shortages, delivery discrepancies and customer feedback).
  • Use data analysis, AI-enabled tools and Gemba observations to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead problem-solving activities, from containment and root-cause analysis to implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Work closely with operational teams to drive sustainable improvements, support Kaizen activities and strengthen quality awareness.
  • Develop preventive quality processes, challenge existing practices, share best practices and help strengthen quality awareness.

Customer & Market Relationship

  • Act as the main customer interface for Toyota Parts Centre Austria, supporting dealers and National Sales Organisations across 10 countries.
  • Build strong customer relationships and coordinate inquiries, claims and escalations.
  • Translate customer feedback and market insights into operational improvements.
  • Represent the depot with customers, Toyota Europe functions and other stakeholders.
  • Promote a Customer First mindset in daily operations and decision-making.

Supply Chain & Logistics Performance

  • Monitor logistics and transport provider performance and drive corrective and improvement actions.
  • Maintain an end-to-end supply chain perspective to improve quality, reliability, efficiency and customer service.
  • Support customer service and transport-related escalations requiring specialist coordination.
  • Act as backup for Inventory Control, supporting inventory KPIs, stock optimisation and critical inventory activities when required.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners, Toyota depots and central teams to implement best practices, contribute to cross-functional projects and follow agreed actions through to completion.

The responsibilities above represent the key focus areas of the role but are not exhaustive. As part of a dynamic logistics operation, you will be expected to support additional business activities where required.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Very good written and spoken English and German are required. Additional Central or South-Eastern European language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into insights, actions and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in Excel and reporting tools; experience with Power BI, automation, AI-enabled analytics and Lean problem-solving methodologies is an advantage.
  • A hands-on, Customer First and Quality First mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding operations, driving improvements and identifying Kaizen opportunities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder-management and influencing skills, with the confidence to work effectively across international and multicultural environments.
  • Able to make fact-based decisions, manage multiple priorities and drive improvement initiatives through to completion.
  • Open-minded and collaborative
  • Relevant experience in quality, supply chain, logistics, customer operations, inventory control, automotive aftersales or a similar operational environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Toyota Way, Toyota Production System (TPS), 5-WHY, PDCA, or similar Lean principles is an advantage.

You have a Toyota DNA, this means you show:

  • Courage: you are ready to let go of the easy path to reach challenging targets
  • Collaboration: you are a team player, respectful and inclusive in your style and you take a customer-oriented approach
  • Creativity: your passion drives you to explore innovative ideas and challenge the impossible
  • Curiosity: you combine imagination and fact-based observation
  • Coaching: you share knowledge and feedback with your colleagues and celebrate each other’s success
