The role focuses on creating end‑to‑end architectures for customer‑facing platforms, ensuring strong data quality, integration, security, and performance. It aligns business needs with enterprise standards, supports system integration across markets, and provides hands‑on guidance during critical incidents. Team/division description:
The role sits within the IT & Digital (IT&D) organisation, supporting Sales & Value Chain systems. The team plays a key role in shaping and governing the digital architecture that underpins Toyota’s European Sales & Value Chain transformation, operating across multiple markets and stakeholders.
Job purpose:
The Solution Architect Digital & E‑commerce acts as a key interface between business, IT delivery teams, operations teams and suppliers, translating business needs into sustainable digital solutions.
In addition to architecture and governance responsibilities, the role also requires a pragmatic and hands-on approach during critical incidents or major quality/security issues, supporting root-cause analysis, solution validation and coordination with Core IT and operational teams to restore service stability and protect customer experience.
