Your team and your responsibilities

Team description

 

You will be working within the Energy Team, as part of Production Engineering – Plant & Environmental Engineering Division - Facility Section

 

Main purpose of this team is to support production plants to provide safe, reliable and efficient utility/energy supply in a cost-effective way to achieve their challenging targets (Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050) for energy and CO2 reduction.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Support manufacturing plants across Europe to increase plant energy efficiency
  • Analyse energy flow from production plants by utilising energy data collection software and use this information for energy efficiency improvement and new technology development
  • Facilitate technical working groups to promote efficient design and operation
  • Conduct internal energy audit together with plant operation teams, prioritize the possible improvement items and propose plan for implementation.
  • Develop analysis functions (such as energy abnormality, utility supply quality) in the system to optimise operation for energy cost and CO2 reduction
  • Implement energy abnormality management system amongst production plants.
  • Ensure data connectivity and accuracy of energy monitoring system via developing connectivity dashboards.
  • Collaborate with carbon neutral organisation members in EU manufacturing plants to support achieving corporate goals

 

 

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Master in mechanical, electrical, process or energy engineering discipline
  • Interest in energy systems, data collection & evaluation/ IoT and big data.
  • Good knowledge/experience on computer skills (database management, data visualisation, industrial data communication protocols, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Aveva PI system would be an added value
  • Travel within Europe may be required.
