Your team and your responsibilities

Team description

 

You will join a high-profile team reporting directly to senior leadership, including a Japanese coordinator and ultimately the VP. The team consists of 4 permanent members and 1 contractor, each leading distinct strategic projects. In your role, you will provide analytical and operational support across all team members, contributing to a wide range of initiatives within the Network Strategy domain.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Analyse & visualize current & future logistics flows (M&I flows)
  • Identify risks & opportunities in our Logistics Network
  • Assess the impact of network changes (transport capacity/imbalance, hub stock, workshop capacity, lead-time, cost, CO2 emissions)
  • Develop Power BI/simulation tools which allow Project Leaders & other stakeholders to grasp information efficiently and effectively
  • Liaise with other Divisions (e.g. Sales) & teams to provide “one-source-of-truth”

 

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You have strong TPS mind-set/Toyota Fundamental Knowledge
  • You have experience in systems such as AS-400
  • You are an expert in data analysis & visualization, demonstrated by past projects
  • You have prior experience in Vehicle Logistics operations (min. 2 years)
  • You have a strong desire to understand and improve operations
  • You “go-to-the-source” to assure data/information is accurate
  • You are able to visualize complex data in a simple, concise manner using TBP logic
