In a nutshell

As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring and improving supplier quality. Your key tasks include reviewing and approving quality documentation before product launch, managing containment and resolving issues after launch, and driving continuous improvement with suppliers. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration with both internal teams and suppliers.

Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

 

The accessory and parts quality team ensures the high quality of our products meeting our customers expectations through build-in quality for product design, production and installation processes, whilst ensuring effective and quick problem solving for customer issues.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Project Management: Organize quality activities in line with project milestones to assure on-time launch
  • Pre-production stage: Asses build-in quality in cooperation with design, homologation and installation teams
  • Supplier Management:  Evaluate supplier quality documentation and processes and co-ordinate supplier quality improvement programs
  • Problem solving: Implement containment actions and perform develop root cause analysis leading to set-up of corrective action to ensure reoccurrence prevention
  • Audit: Perform product and supplier process audits

Your Profile

  • You have a Master degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years experience
  • You have proven experience in quality control tools (ex. AQP /PPAP)
  • You have practical experience in manufacturing technologies (casting, injection, assembly,..)
  • You have experience with project management tools
  • Proven track record in leading and conducting audits and assessments
  • Good problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Good analytical, logical deduction skills, combined with a pragmatic mindset
  • Experience in developing procedures and standards
