Your team and your responsibilities

Team description

 

The team is divided into two focus areas: technical and partner-related operations. This position falls under the technical stream, which currently consists of two permanent specialists.
This role reports directly to the hiring manager. 

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Analyse stock and service levels. Initiate necessary improvement actions to meet our customers’ service expectation in line with targets for key KPI’s (=daily jobs):
  • On time delivery by supplier = supplier performance
  • Allocation Service Rate to Toyota customers
  • Backorder to Toyota customers (globally)
  • Overdue orders from Suppliers
  • In relation to the Supplier performance - support & follow up on actions plans with supplier to cover any gap to target
  • Problem solving with Toyota suppliers and TME internal related divisions on parts supply performance concerns and follow-up supplier improvements using the TPS (Toyota Production System) philosophy and Toyota problem solving approach.
  • Ensure availability of parts/accessories to European Markets through regional locations and beyond to the end customer for both current and future models of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
  • Support and lead projects for structural improvements.

 

 

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Have a Master in Logistics, Procurement or related discipline
  • You have minimum 5 years’ experience in field of Procurement and in leading or being part of a team delivering improvements
  • You have strong project management skills and an eye to identify critical issues, enabling you to work independently as well as in teamwork with customer mindset
  • Demonstrate passion to solve problems with hands on mentality
  • Attention to detail and enjoys working in an active supply environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good coordination, organisational and communication skills. 
  • Handle job with care and precision, in-line with deadlines.
  • Motivated to travel and work at the process (Gemba)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge on Office 365 applications, including PowerBI
