In a nutshell

As a compliance specialist, you ensure that Toyota Motor Europe Parts Supply Chain group, located in Diest, complies with new and existing legislative requirements, as well as internal policies and by-laws.
In addition, you ensure that Toyota Parts Centre Europe security level is guaranteed at the highest required standards.

Your team and your responsibilities

The team’s mission is to create a roadmap, establish procedures, and introduce adequate tools into the organization to drive and support sustainability and compliance within the Parts Supply Chain Group.

This will result in a compliant and environmentally friendly work environment where employees enable each other to take responsibility, supporting and challenging each other to meet the division’s targets.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Create a roadmap with clear roles and responsibilities to ensure compliance is achieved at all times within the organization.

  2. Ensure compliance with the following:

    • Sarbanes-Oxley Act
    • Authorized Economic Operator requirements
    • General Data Protection Regulation
    • Artificial Intelligence Act
    • Toyota Motor Europe’s internal confidentiality and security policies
  3. Ensure compliance with the international standard ISO 27001 for information security management systems.

  4. Manage the Toyota Parts Centre Europe security team daily, defining appropriate key performance indicators to guarantee that security levels meet the highest required standards.

Your Profile

You are fluent in English (TME’s business language) and Dutch
You have experience in the field of:

  • Compliance towards the above indicated topics
  • Maintaining site specific security levels

You have experience working in:

  • A logistics work environment
  • The automotive sector (seen as an asset, not a must)

You have held team or contractor management responsibilities

You have strong project management skills and an eye to identify critical issues, enabling you to work independently,

Strong knowledge on Office 365 applications
