Achieve top condition of R&D Test equipment and contribute to accurate Project testing results, through a safe, professional, and legally compliant way whilst ensuring Customer satisfaction throughout the equipment/installation maximum lifetime.

  1. Calibration, Repair & Maintenance of Test equipment to ensure accurate evaluation results. 

Very wide variety of technical equipment being used during testing (+5000)

Your responsibilities

 

The Test equipment team is ensuring the optimal condition of testing tools and equipment’s for research and development purposes.  This job entails regular maintenance, calibration and repair of these resources but also ensuring compliance to safety and environmental legislation.

  • Ultimo maintenance system workorder management and KPI controlling.
  • (report filing, data input)
  • Support technical intervention and diagnostics on Equipment in R&D (repair/maintenance)
  • (actual repair/maintenance will be carried out by Experts, outsourcing)
  • Evaluate Equipment Life cycle management and propose best “change/keep” scenario’s considering Cost, Lead-time, Quality, Legal compliance.
  • Project management, Technical project planning and execution, including Quality assurance.
  • Lead the administrative process on legal documentation for technical equipment.
  • Develop tool for scheduling of Automated maintenance & calibration operations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Management.
  • Implement Remote monitoring/servicing system on key Safety equipment on Zaventem site.
  • Manage service suppliers’ performance satisfaction KPI and investigate the market for other competitors to expand the portfolio of suppliers, for continuous improvement (cost & Quality)
  • Supplier compliance confirmation activity (assess suppliers against Legal requirements and coordinate improvement activities).

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language) - French & or Dutch is a strong asset 
  • Education: Minimum Bachelors degree (Technical profile) or equivalent through experience
  • Prior experience and knowledge on machinery maintenance and repairs, technical systems (or vehicle evaluation) are desirable.

  • Functional skills:
    • Advanced MS Excel skills, MS List, PowerApps, Power-BI
    • Experience with MS Sharepoint is an advantage.
    • Knowledge on Ultimo is an asset.
    • Project Management with MS Project is an asset.
    • Knowledge on Vehicle evaluation test set up following Toyota requirements is an asset
