Your team and your responsibilities

Team/Division Description

The Energy Business division plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of electric vehicles (EVs) within TME markets. Our mission involves defining, developing, and deploying innovative energy products and services. By doing so, we facilitate the adoption and use of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV).

One of our key initiatives is the “HomeCharge” program. Through this program, Toyota and Lexus owners can conveniently charge their BEV or PHEV cars at home using a specially installed charger integrated into the MY-T / Lexus Link application. This enhances the overall customer experience of charging electrified vehicles.

The team’s specific responsibilities include

Technical Development: Leading engineering working groups with TME R&D, VC, ITD, CT, and external stakeholders to define and implement necessary technical features in the Toyota EV charging Solution (including hardware and software elements) and the Toyota customer apps.

Deployment in TME Markets: Ensuring the successful deployment of energy products and services in alignment with Sales functions and National Marketing and Sales Companies (NMSCs). This involves preparing Toyota retail channels and establishing operational support for end customers.

  • Execution Follow-Up: Ensuring the delivery of the target technical solution meets quality, time, and budget requirements.

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • System Engineering Expertise: You have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex products and services. Your proficiency with distributed software components and digital customer interfaces enables you to create robust solutions.
  • Effective Coordination: Coordinating the delivery of technical artifacts is second nature to you. You excel in cross-functional and multicultural environments, ensuring successful project outcomes.
