You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture Pan-E team which currently serves as a cross functional team across European entities providing services like Business Strategy Support, Programme & Project Support and Technology Management.

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping our IT landscape and ensuring its alignment with our ever-evolving business goals.  As an Enterprise Architect, you will be a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen understanding of how technology can empower business success.

Your responsibilities

  • Within Technology Management, you will be working along with other team members (Enterprise Architects) responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving the technical standards, processes, templates, and governance mechanisms used within the Enterprise Architecture department and exposed to the whole of Pan-Europe. Selecting technologies right from identification to rollout would be a key expectation

  • Within Project / Programme Support area, You will be responsible for translating the needs of business into fit for purpose solution design, have the capability to validate solution design if delivered via a vendor or thrid party. Having strong Integration knowledge and experience would allow you to support streamlining our enterprise integration strategy.

This role establishes sound EA practices to enhance architectural visibility, decision making, and strategic execution across the organization.

 

Role And Responsibilities

 

Your key responsibility will be to lead, manage and implement our Pan-European Integration Strategy via a center of excellence. So, any experience in this area would be a strong plus

In general, As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible to:

  • Ensure consistency in projects in terms of assessment, design, and implementation by working with IT teams (Solution Architects & Technical leads)
  • Ensure that all projects and the system landscape, integrates together in a consistent, efficient, and sustainable way. This would need strong knowledge of implementing integration patterns
  • Ensure IT architecture respects company technical standards, especially security & compliance
  • Ensure teams follow the Enterprise Architecture processes, governance, standards and best practices during Software Development lifecycle to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Ensure that the solution implemented is in line with the agreed and signed-off architecture during the execution of the project and validate and approve before Go Live
  • Support in creating and maintaining the IS architectural standards and principles, steers the appropriate documentation and updates the company's system of reference
  • Define Architectural Patterns linked to the key technologies in the company which allows Solution Architects and Developer community to adopt them and quickly within their projects
  • Maintains and update the EA process framework outlining key processes, activities, inputs and outputs.
  • Create and update architectural templates, blueprints, review procedures to streamline EA work.
  • Educate stakeholders on EA best practices and governance.
  • Ensure architectural decisions and waiver requests follow due EA review and exception processes.  
  • Contribute to the development of the IS strategic plan
  • Contribute to the selection of new solutions which address the company's needs, in line with the recommendations and solutions in place and with the IS strategy more globally.

Your Profile

Education/Experience/Training:

  • Experience in managing and leading a technial team in order to achieve a common set of goals and objectives
  • Experience in developing / implementing comprehensive system integration strategies and roadmaps, Knowledge of system integration tools, methodologies, API management and data governance would be a great plus
  • Must have strong technical background especially from a development background with hands-on development expertise in any programming language (Java preferred but not limited to)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture or a similar IT strategy role
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in Software Development
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, methodologies, modelling tools & best practices
  • Strong analytical and process engineering background
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration for various initiatives.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferably in an IT related domain) or equivalent of 5 to 10 years experience
  • Experience in a large organisation as an Enterprise Architect or Domain Architect serving a complex IT landscape
  • You have hands-on experience with Archimate, agile / scrum development methodologies and modelling techniques
  • Fluent in English (TME business language)
