Your team and your responsibilities

 

Team description

 

Within the R&D Electronics Engineering Division the Electronics Evaluation team is responsible for:

  • EuroNCAP performance validation for Active Safety
  • Electronics evaluation
  • ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistant System) evaluation.

 

Your responsibilities

  • EuroNCAP activities:
      • Vehicle instrumentation for data acquisition of vehicle and peripheral data
      • Attend tests at test laboratories (Europe) during the different development stages
      • Ensuring the Official (Euro)NCAP assessments are executed according to the NCAP Protocols for Active Safety on-site at test laboratories (Europe).
      • Obtain a level of expertise of the official NCAP Protocols
      • Liaison with test engineers at test laboratories
  • Electronics/ADAS evaluation:
      • Usage of electronic equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyser
      • CAN measurements
      • Installation of electronic parts in vehicle
      • Public road evaluation for different systems
  • You contribute to a safe and respectful working environment

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in automotive or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent by experience
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Automotive or Electric Engineering EU recognized
  • You have excellent communication skills / soft skills required for liaison to TMC and EuroNCAP test labs.
  • You are willing to travel frequently (up to 30%)
  • A general ADAS and Active vehicle safety interest is a plus
  • Any experience in Python, Matlab and Labview is an asset
  • You have good problem solving and analytical skills
