In pursuit of this goal, two entities have been founded in Europe. Toyota Connected Europe, located in London, serves as the technological solutions provider. On the other hand, Toyota Connected Technologies, headquartered in Brussels, takes responsibility for devising, planning, and executing the European strategy for connected, multimedia, and mobility services.

 

Toyota Connected Technologies Division has a clear focus on the Car of Tomorrow.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

As a Tech Lead for Data Business & Privacy, your responsibilities entail:

  • Developing B2B Data Business infrastructure strategy, taking input from product leadership, privacy & CT architecture teams and turning requests from various stakeholders into a logical and actionable development backlog
  • Defining B2B technical requirements and architecture aligned with product requirements
  • Supporting CT Privacy team for technical questions for compliance projects (GDPR, Data Act, etc.)
  • Aligning technology vision with B2C architecture and execute together with our partners (IT&D and TCEU) in global scale
  • Maximise efficiency for system/solutions development by reducing cost and increasing productivity 
  • Perform technical lead role representing CT Data Business in global projects within CT as well as towards TCEU and IT&D
  • Create the system/solutions development process by working closely with TCEU, IT&D and PO’s, ensuring product developments/enhancements are delivered on time and as specified
  • Collaborating with product teams to ensure that delivered software meets quality, privacy and security standards
  • Manage the system life cycle from inception to launch for a portfolio of products
  • Support Data Business PO’s in defining technical & business requirements
  • Lead Data Business use cases implementation end-to-end
  • Research and identify new opportunities for us to innovate on behalf of our customers

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You hold a degree in data science, IT or similar field
  • 5+ years of software development experience preferably in a technology company, demonstrating experience with system lifecycle management and execution
  • Hands on experience developing applications using Java, JavaScript or Python based technology.
  • Experience on cloud based system preferably on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Experience in building and deploying containerised applications to cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Experienced in designing and developing complex customer facing systems
  • Experienced in continuous development and continuous integration tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Atlassian Bitbucket or any similar technology.
  • Owner mentality, strong entrepreneurial drive and bias for action, proven ability to influence cross-functional peers and stakeholders
  • Experience of triaging business needs and converting them into clear, coherent requirements using user/job stories, behaviour-driven design acceptance criteria and any other supporting documentation
  • Time-served agile product management experience in SaFe, Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong analytical skills, including self-serving data from customer usage metrics, and manipulating it towards valuable insights
  • You showcase strong communication and excellent planning skills
