Your team and your responsibilities

Team description

 

TME’s Corporate Affairs and Strategy Division is responsible for the effective communication of Toyota’s strategy, activities and results to internal and external stakeholder relations.

 

The Internal Communications team is in charge of daily communication to TME members via multiple platforms and manages multiple internal events. Our mission is to “Educate, Engage and Entertain” TME members.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to Toyota Motor Europe’s communications through story creation & -telling via multiple platforms; (One Toyota, Intranet, mass-mails, digital signage, etc.)
  • Being responsible for some areas within TME e.g.: Quality / After Sales. Meeting with functional management and members to find and generate stories for news articles on One Toyota.
  • Lead TME internal functional events (like the New Year Kick-Off,  Quarterly Business Briefing-s) in terms of content creation, executive speech writing, coordination, and logistics.
  • Stay up to date with current and future communication trends to ensure impactful internal communication style and method.
  • Create written and visual content for internal and external (social media) purposes.

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You care about people and are motivated to put employee engagement in the heart of your daily activities
  • You are passionate about communications and have a real creative vein
  • You are effective in communicating messages to others, for example, audience understanding and empathy, simplifying complex business information and strategies into engaging and simple messages, clear storyline etc.
  • You have a Bachelor or Masters in Communication / Social media / Journalism with strong digital mindset and visual content creation skills
  • You are highly proficient in written and spoken English
  • Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint
  • You have extensive SharePoint skills
  • You are comfortable using Photoshop / Canva / Adobe Premiere Pro and other picture/movie editing tools
  • Ideally you have experience in Chroma key filming, video and podcasts creation
  • You have good knowledge and experience of online platforms and live streaming technologies
  • You have a proven track record in the field of physical / digital events
