Team description
Become a key member of the Toyota warehouse operations team and support our business transformation towards a global mobility company. This is achieved by ensuring maximum material availability to process parts & accessories in the safest way possible, whilst exceeding internal and external customer (Toyota and Lexus) expectations on quality and delivery at the lowest cost.
- Warehouse size: 100.000 m² equipped with # types of racking
- Automatic High Bay warehouse: fully automated (hosting 5200 pallets)
- Material handling equipment: +250 vehicles of various types
- Operational equipment: conveyors systems, goods elevators & many more
- Internal customers: +1000 employees in Diest
- External customers: Toyota & Lexus dealers across Europe
You will be fully supported by skilled team members ensuring safe & ergonomic machinery (by design/ structure). Be an active contributor to the development and implementation of the latest technologies and operational techniques. Your team ensures that internal customer operations operates with minimum resource. Our Toyota team focus is on 'First Time Right' and minimising the handling and downtime providing a seamless heijunka service.

To lead the maintenance team towards building a proactive maintenance scheme and investment plan, guaranteeing safe healthy sustainable operations, meeting environmental & compliance challenges and support smooth & lean operations at optimum cost.

Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling are essential. You will be responsible for contracted members ensuring the smooth running of operations where your technical skills and knowledge of various crafts will keep up quality. As excellent maintenance supervisor/engineer you must be reliable and have a great eye for detail to ensure that operational equipment always remains in a good and safe condition.
