. Bachelor’s degree in art or industrial design
. Minimum of 5-7 years experience working with production related industry or design office.
. Very good knowledge of car styling and automotive industry including current trends.
. Proven ability to create and finalize style on models.
. Modelling equipment software experience.
. Good project management skills.
. Fluent in English.
. Scanning and milling software knowledge preferred.
. Skilled in different types of modelling equipment preferred.
. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Toyota Technical Center (R&D) in Europe is responsible for the design & styling, planning, development and production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements.
Within our R&D organisation, Vehicle Design division plays a key role in the early design and styling development of our future models. The role of the Design team is to join the initial concept making, sketches and product design through the creative use of computer software.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for the production style development for our future and existing products.
You will work closely together with exterior, interior, color style designers and engineers in order to:
. Translate designers’ 2D sketches, verbal directions and rough alias models into a physical clay model with the same creative flair.
. Create 3D shapes for exterior and interior models.
. Create physical models from initial concept phase to production ready models for approval by management.
. Work with digital data and engineering drawings.
. Identify, analyse and resolve potential feasibility issues.
. Deliver high quality shape and surface while respecting timing and efficiency.
